We would like to remind our clients that during the month of March we have to present two forms to the Spanish authorities, 720 and 721.
The form 720 includes all the assets you have outside of Spain with a balance greater than 50,000 Euros on 31st of December 2025. It includes bank accounts, real estate, rights and interests in companies.
The form 721 is the informative declaration of cryptocurrencies located abroad. You have to compile all information to know the sum of assets in the form of cryptocurrencies by resident citizens in Spain.
The obligation will be when you have more than 50,000 euros of assets in digital currencies on 31 December 2025.
After you submit the first time when you have an increase of 20.000 euros concerning your last declaration of assets, you will have to submit it again.
The deadline to submit this tax model is 31 March 2026.
